Gain Mode settings question

Are there any explanations or discussion on the modes listed on the Gains tab?
Absolute
Basic
Simple

I'm also curious what the status is of the machine learning adaptation is within pypilot. I seem to remember there was a learning setting in a previous version that incorporated some machine learning logic.

I've been too busy stuck on other things to develop the alternate pilots. So far basic is really the best option. I intend to get these and a few more working soon, and eventually yes machine learning...
