How do you actually sail with OpenPlotter?

Aside from that, IMO is better than Navionics. But for a longer trip, it's hard to plan several legs, i don't know how to import weather routing exported from OpenCPN, etc... 
Small remark:
There is a complete route editing and management part in AvNav.
You can easily import and export routes in gpx format or convert tracks to routes.
So planning several legs should be no issue.
Not sure but maybe some of the video tutorials could help ( although in german).
