Pypilot sensor box with instruments - opencpn dashboard opencpn
#1
Pretty much have everything working with Pypilot sensor box with Davis instruments and Benmar motor drive.  I am using opencpn as the WiFi access point and Pypilot as the client.  Signs is up and working.  How do you get the Davis wind instruments to come up in opencpn’s dashboard?

Are the wind instruments recognized by pypilot?

pypilot relays nmea received on serial over tcp port 20220. So generally a connection from opencpn on this port will be used for bot input and output (for route following)

Yes they are recognized.  Will check port.  The opencpn box is the access point though.

so pypilot is a client? You will need to determine what ip address it uses and add a connection. It may be a good idea to set a static ip to the tinypilot
