1. Connected to HDMI monitor, but can't set screen resolution. No monitor is listed.
When I go to Menu -> Administration -> Settings -> Devices -> Displays there is a message "Could not get screen information"
2. Connected a trackball instead of mouse. All functions work, but changing mouse speed has no effect.
Menu -> Administration -> Settings -> Devices -> Mouse & Touchpad
Thanks
Frode
You can change resolution by editing /boot/config.txt directly.
Thanks, was able to set resolution manually.
But it would be practical to have this available in settings, do you know why it fails?
When searching the error message I find bug reports from 2016 relating to Gnome Control Center.
I draw blanks about the mouse speed.
Cheers
