it isn't isolated but is also made by Waveshare and has the same CAN controller and I can say it was very easy to implement (the process is laid out in the OP docs) and Waveshare make quality components, I have used them for a variety of projects now.

I think the one you identified does what the PiCAN does (including powering the Pi) but for 1/3 of the price!!

I would not use the onboard power stuff though, without fears of somebody just shutting the power off and currupting the SD card, but that may not be a concern for you
