signalk/influxdb in the cloud
#1
I recently got the basic $6  a month droplet option at digital ocean, no doubt plenty other similar options from other companies.
https://www.digitalocean.com/pricing/
So took a few moments to get a linux machine running online, then installed signalk/influxdb & chronograf. Now with a little node red locally to send signalk data to the cloud influxdb I can view it anywhere! Signalk online not doing much yet but even just having node-red running online will get used, for instance saving gribs to dropbox or google drive a few times a day.

Such fun!!  Cool
