Rudder Sensor, will this work?
#1
I have Sean's motor controller, with the short cable off it to connect to a rudder angle sensor. I spotted this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/ELING-Marine-Rudd...189&sr=8-3

I am wondering if this sensor would be compatible with the controller to give proper rudder feedback?

If it won't work, or if there's a better option, can someone recommend one that would be compatible and wouldn't break the bank?

you need to convert from 2 wire to 3 wire using a resistor but it will also mean you lose a few bits of precision. It would probably still be good enough but a 3 wire hall sensor is preferred also because it wont wear over time.

Using a resistor, try converting from two to three wires. I tried it and it worked well.
