Chart groups selection by keyboard

Hello everybody, I need some help concerning the selection of chart groups on OpenCPN 5.6 on my Raspberry 3B+ operating Openplotter. On my laptop, I am able to select the chart groups using the numerical keys and that is very useful. On my RPI this is possible only when I use the virtual keyboard but not with an external keyboard, despite the fact that the keyboard respond perfectly with the calculator. Have you experimented the same issue?

Hi all, I try to bring this pending question up as I would really like to get the chart Group choice available with the keyboard on Raspberry. Did I am alone to be unable to get this function or did you think that it's not really useful? Thanks to give me your situation.
