Raspberry Pi 5 with Display - Seeking Advice on Size and Usage
#1
I'm contemplating grabbing a Raspberry Pi 5, and I've been in touch with a supplier offering a bright display. My plan is to turn this setup into a chart plotter with openplotter in action. Now, I'm stuck on deciding the display size. The price difference between 8" and 15.6", and everything in between, is minimal. I haven't delved much into opencpn or openplotter, but my research suggests they're more than capable for my needs.

Any thoughts or advice on display size?

Is there a big difference in power consumption between small and large display ?
