USB Tether to Galaxy A04s
#1
I am using a Pi 4B+ and have been successfully tethering my previous Android phone and successfully sharing its internet to the Pi.
I now have a Samsung Galaxy A04s.  It USB tethers to a Windows laptop OK.
When I try to USB tether the phone to the Pi (4B+) the results are not so good.
The Pi seems to allocate a network port OK, but I cannot get internet access.
The checks and settings are:
1. Mobile data enabled,
2. USB phone tethering enabled
3. Pi Access point set-up
4. Network Check shows USB0 set to 192.168.42.10, and reports "No conflicts between server connections"

When I start a browser (Firefox), it returns a diagnostic message "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET"

Screenshots and diagnostic system log are attached.

I would be most grateful for any help.
