RasPi scarcity and options
#1
Greetings everyone,

Given how difficult it is to obtain a Rasberry Pi.
Is it possible to swap it for a different SBC?

I am thinking perhaps an orange pi 5?

Does anyone have installed a complete suite of Open Marine Software successfully on a SBC other than RPi?
What board did you use, how difficult was it, did you have to do any mods?

Thanking you in advance.

Kind regards,

Alain

If those orange boards can run Raspberry OS, it should work. Never tested.

Thank you.
I will see if someone has one and would be willing to test it.

Thank you Sailoog,

I have just ordered a Orange Pi 5 with some accessories.
We I receive it I will try installing the RPi image, and will report the results.

In the mean time:
If anyone has been working with the Orange Pi 5 please report your findings! ;-)
