multiple desktops in openplotter?
#1
Planning on setting up openplotter with a pi4 and touch screen  at nav station.
I was shocked that adding pager to panel pretty much messed up the panel.

Looks like the raspberry pi  folks have done some some strange modifications to lxde.

Multiple desktops or workspaces are really nice.

Primarily  use linux for over 30 years. Maintained customized linux desktops for about 200 users for about 20 years. Used lxde for over 5 years for that purpose. Otherwise used kde .

Anyhow I will have multiple desktops it's just a matter of how.
I want to customize as little as possible and  keep all the useful customizations done by raspberry pi and openplotter.

Anyone find a way to get lxde on pi os to work with pager properly?

From my experimentation lxqt looks promising.
Will I loose any functionality with lxqt.

John
