After consulting O charts, we found out that ocharts needs to be used in the flatpak installation.
Influxdb. grafana will not work on my 7inch monitor. did not work for ocharts either on a 7In monitor.

Not exactly.
OpenCPN 8.5.2 version from flatpak is only required if you use small monitors because 8.5.2 is not available from backports yet. Besides that, there is a bug in Raspberry OS and right click and 2-fingers zoom features for touchscreens do not work in Debian native sources but they work in flatpak.

There are bugs in Influxdb and Grafana login pages that hide fields in small monitors making difficult to log in. You can deal with this pressing F11 in your browser to enter in full screen mode or pressing Tabs key to move between fields. Anyway, that resolution is not good to work with dashboards and panels, better do that from a browser connected remotely to OpenPlotter.

Thanks very much.  I finally was able to create the accounts at home. No wifi at the marina, again.
Have not been able to get them working at the boat. trying to debug why.
