Ports on SignalK Dashboard

Okay, just so I don't make myself crazy trying to fix something that isn't broke, I have a fairly basic question:

If I configure a port that only has outgoing traffic (either NMEA0183 or NMEA2000), when I bring up the SignalK dashboard and look at the port display, does that outgoing traffic show on the display?

I dont think it shows outbound. I used to send AIS data out via a serial 0183 port, I don't think it showed anything on the home dashboard. You could see it in the logs.
