RTL-SDR V4 Driver
#1
I recently purchased  an RTL-SDR usb dongle from RTL-SDR Blog to use as an AIS receiver with OpenPlotter.  It's a version 4 (V4) model.  The RTL-SDR Blog website User Guide for the new V4 dongle (https://www.rtl-sdr.com/v4/) provides instructions for installing drivers.

Using OpenPlotter V3 I can't obtain any Channels when attempting to calibrate the dongle.  This might be due to my antenna or perhaps the OpenPlotter RTL-SDR drivers need to be updated?

Does anyone have a V4 dongle that works with OpenPlotter V3?

Thanks

Tom

I recently bought one. I was struggling in OpenPlotter on RaspberryPi. I did try on Windows using their install guide and SDR# and things seem to work. I followed their guide on updating the Debian drivers on Linux, but same behavior in OpenPlotter. I'll try again and let you know if any progress. Please do the same!
Cheers, Brendan
