Open plotter on RPi5 NVMe card
#1
Greetings everyone.

I have a RPi5 I installed the RPi OS 64 bit on the NVMe card that is on a hat.

I downloaded Open plotter starting file 64 bit.
On the NVMe card

How do I install Open plotter now?

Or should I install Open plotter with a RPi OS image from Open plotter on a SD card (are there like special drivers on the OS from Open Marine?)
and transfer every thing to the NVMe card sfterward?

I am lost. :-)

thx,

a.

Thanks Jason,

I love Jeff, great channel.
Just like yours is ;-)

Here is the solution I am trying now.
I am imaging the Open Marine Pi OS on a Micro sd card currently in my Pi5 (that is using the bootable NVMe card. ONce that is finished copying on the SD card Ia will use "SD card copier"
And copy the Open Marine OS from the SD card to the NVMe card and I will reboot.

Hopefully this is kind of clear and hopefully it will work.

It is the actual Open Marine SW that I am looking to install on the P5.

As a side not the Pi5 booting from a NVMe card running Pcie Gen 3 is amazingly fast and so far stable for me watching You Tube and playing with GIMP.

Cheers,
a.
