WilhelmSK iOS Access Over the Internet?
#1
Question
I want to use WilhelmSK on my iPhone to monitor my boat while ashore. WilhelmSK connects directly to my Signal K server when I'm on the boat, but off the boat, my Signal K URL is not publicly accessible. To complicate matters, my boat's internet connection is via Starlink which uses CGNAT. A friend uses Remote. It to connect while off his boat, but Remote. It doesn't support P2P connections on iOS, only Andriod (which is what he uses). How are you connecting to your Signal K server over the internet with iOS devices?

I got it to work using ngrok. IMHO, ngrok is a much better service than Remote.It. Once I set up the tunnel to SigK, I was able to put the connection details into WilhelmSK, and it connected.
