Raymarine S100 wireless remote w/MacArthur HAT
#1
My old ST7000 autopilot died and almost immediately also some of the ST50 instruments broke also so I upgraded the autopilot and instruments which use Seatalk NG. Now the new autopilot does not have direct input for S100 wireless remote basestation but could be used by installing Seatalk to Seatalk NG converter.

I was searching what other options I would have and came up with OpenPlotter, which seems to offer quite many interesting features I've been thinking about, like OpenCPN, Avnav etc etc. I was thinking that MacArthur HAT would solve also the connecting issue between the S100 base station and autopilot but does it? As far as I understand the communication between the remote and base station is two-way: Remote commands to autopilot but also navigation information from autopilot to remote, like COG, XTE (and some others maybe). Is MacArthur capable of doing this?

Thanks!
