My instruments are on a bulkhead in the cockpit. I want to see the screen on the Tinypilot from the cockpit too.
Does anyone else have the Tinypilot mounted where it is exposed to the elements? What have you done to protect it?
Could anyone share photos of their installation?

Hello,
I have been using a pypilot with radio receiver purchased in the shop for 3 years. I now have three waterproof radio remote controls, one of which is attached to the helm linear actuator and two that can be worn around the neck. The calculator has always been inside, protected from water and in a place where there is no risk of magnetic interference. I therefore have no display in the cockpit and I have never regretted it because I use two remote control keys on the helm linear actuator to engage or disengage the pilot. This makes it impossible to make a mistake or disengage the pilot by mistake. Two other keys of this remote control allow me to extend or retract the linear actuator before pinning it to the helm.
When I need to change the pilot settings in the cockpit, I use a waterproof tablet that remains in the cockpit while sailing. But this is rare because the remote controls are generally sufficient while sailing. If I have forgotten the tablet, I use my phone.
Paoyrus, a French Pypilot user, posted the following photo on the HisseEtOh website.
The case must still be perfectly waterproof, because the ones I recovered that were broken all had cracks or keys that were starting to leak.
