Signal K installer not updating to 4.2.0
#1
Hello I have not seen this so hopefully I didn't miss something.

I am new to this, I can use Signal K with the current out of box installation but when I try to update using Openplotter settings to the latest version of Signal K i freeze up, this is with doing an APT UPDATE && APT UPGRADE, or just updating when Openplotter let's me know there are updates avaliable.

I am on a Raspberry Pi 5, 8GB
The freezing spot is when trying to GET 200(??) a file listed as "lodash.isequal"
I have tried restarting with the open option and get the same issue.  I tried updating my swapon size, updated my NVM(??) timeout to like 60000, cleared the cache and probably another 3 to 5 things google searches recommended.  I was able to brute force with removing directories and doing a manual reinstall but I was having issues with getting the GPIO function working again.

If there is needs for more information after I get back to a working copy I'll go though the installation process.

I can post information there as well incase that is for all update crashes but this looks like possibly an issue with CAN network interface or the power module on off activation, both of which I'm not utilizing(though I do have the most update CAN Bus installed(4.1.0)).

I also do not hard crash just the updater freezes and only when it get's to that one specific file(I've repeated this like 8 times), and being I'm guessing it reinstalls/updates SignalK services those stop and I can not reenable them.  The rest of the system seems to pass the system check after the failed update just the SignalK server is not started.

This is utilizing the Openplotter Settings app 4.2.6 BTW as well as.

I think I uninstalled SignalK and utilized the Raspberry Pi process to get the installation finished but that portion is a bit of a blur I just know I was having issues getting GPIO and 1wire to play nice after getting the server back up.

So I can't seem to just attach pictures so I attached a drive links for pictures of Installation version, check system passing, KIP working, Freeze(left it at this point for 15 mins before focing close).

It fails after this but I guess I never tried to reboot before playing with other things because a reboot does restart the server and things seem to work ok still.

EDIT - this is also after updating kernel to "Linux 6.6.58-v8-16k+"
