I Need Advice with Setting Up SignalK and OpenPlotter for Raspberry Pi Integration
#1
Hello there,

I am relatively new to OpenMarine and am trying to set up a marine navigation system using a Raspberry Pi 4. My goal is to use OpenPlotter with SignalK for a small sailboat project. I have been following the documentation; but I have hit a few roadblocks and was hoping the community could help.

OpenPlotter v3.0 and SignalK installed using the recommended image.
SignalK server is up; and I have configured the GPS module and AIS input; but I am not sure if the data is flowing correctly.

In SignalK; I can see the GPS module listed under Devices but the data does not seem to update in real time. Is there a specific setting I might have missed?
I am trying to display AIS data on the OpenCPN chartplotter. The AIS receiver is connected; but I do not see any vessel information. Could it be a baud rate mismatch; or something else entirely?

Also, I have gone through this post; https://forum.openmarine.net/showthread.php?tableau=5018 which definitely helped me out a lot.

Any tips for calibrating the touchscreen to work seamlessly with OpenPlotter? I would appreciate any guidance; especially from those who have successfully set up a similar system. If you need more details about my setup or logs.

Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.
