MAIANA Blue
#1
Hello sailors,

I'm taking my first steps in tackling the MAIANA project.
For now, I'm at the stage of soldering components onto the PCB, but the most important news is that the first step has been made! I have the PCBs, I have the components, and I’m motivated to get to work! Smile
At the moment, I’m focusing only on assembling the "base kit" from the MAIANA project. The NMEA adapters will get the attention they deserve in the next phase, once the "base kit" is functional.
I’m trying to stay as faithful as possible to the original project, with the only change (for now) being the blue PCB, which has inspired the new name, Maiana Blue.
I hope to have the first boards ready for testing in the next 2-3 weeks.

Until then, "Happy New Year!" and "Fair winds!"
Seb

First board, almost ready for soldering:
