Can't connect with VNC, no HDMI connected and the HAT power module installed
#1
Hi.

Root problem is that I can't connect to the Openplotter with VNC running on a RPI 5 + MacArthur HAT with the power module when the HDMI is not connected.
After researching this, most posts suggest setting the screen resolution to a fixed value, which I'v done, currently 1920x1080 (tried different ones with the same result).

When booting without HDMI connected:

  1. I can't connect with VNC (works when HDMI is connected).
  2. I can't turn off the RPI cutting power to the Seatalk1 12v power (works when HDMI is connected).
  3. No video is displayed on the monitor if connecting the HDMI cable post of booting.

Anyone with any ideas that can help me resolving this problem?

I'm not planning to have a screen connected to the RPI when installed in my boat.

Thanks!
