Navionics on Waydroid, no port forward

Hi

I'm currently expanding my openplotter setup with a dedicated monitoring touch screen for the sail instruments.
It is connecting to my server through the usual web interfaces, dispalying the instruments through KIP, and working quite nicely.

As I would like to be able to use my paid for charts that reside within Navionics on the touch screen as well, I've installed Waydroid https://waydro.id/index.html which emulate an Android phone on the rPi. I've got it registered, Navionics installed, my charts downloaded from the internet, but I can't get it to connect to my NMEA0183 stream from SignalK on UDP port 2000.
This is a bit annoying, as the unit doesn't have an internal GPS, the Navionics experience is limited to just looking at the charts, no AIS involvement etc.

My phone is happily recieving the stream, so there is no fault on the server side.
The internal connection between the emulated phone and the actual rPi is my prime suspect, but I can't seem to make it work.
Any helt appreciated.

Right. 
The default port for Navionics is 2000 though.

And as I wrote, the data is on the wifi, Navionics on my phone is picking it up using UDP port 2000.

Any experience with a Waydriod setup?
I believe the problem is within the recipient system.

unfortunately idk about Waydroid but I remember I had some Navionics (on Android) connected with 10110 port and all required data was there
I have no idea about port 2000 and I don't use Navionics anymore

You’ve done almost everything perfectly – from setting up Waydroid to run Navionics to setting up the NMEA0183 stream from SignalK. However, the biggest hurdle here may be how Waydroid handles internal networking. Have you checked to see if Waydroid supports direct connections to the Raspberry Pi’s network? It’s possible that the UDP routing between the Android virtual environment and the root server isn’t working as expected. bitlife

Although the SignalK server is correctly broadcasting NMEA0183 data, Waydroid's virtual networking may prevent the Navionics app from accessing the UDP stream, meaning features such as GPS positioning and AIS cannot function properly.
