Is OP Version 3 good for the MacArthur Hat?
#1
Hello.
I am currently using a highly customized and stable OpenPlotter 3 Installation on a Pi 4 Model B with 8GB Ram
Since I wanted some extra hardware features I opted to add a MacArthur Hat.

Now I wonder if I need to upgrade to OP 4 or if OP3 is all fine.

Thanks a bundle for any help!

Edit:
I might also say: My biggest concern is Bluetooth. It seems that I finally configured the system in a way that the connection to a BLE device is now stable.
Would not be happy to debug the issues again Smile

you will not be able to use all the features in OP3. Power management is one of them. I would try the Bluetooth stuff in a new sd card with OP4 and migrate if everything works.
