I2C service not running ...Work Around
#29
I have the data from the i2c sensor coming across to signal k.....but the bme680 tempertures seems to have 6° offset which I'd like to correct.
The data in signal K is from the plugin rather than from i2c open plotter app. The plug in has no way of correcting the offset so I would really like to get the open plotter app working.

I've tried all the options in this thread but still get the "service not running" message on the OpenPlotter check system.

"sudo systemctl status openplotter-i2c-read" gives the blow result:

I've also just run a fresh install from SD card - the I2C can see all the sensors I have, but just doesn't send any data from them to SignalK....and has the same service not running message. Why would this be on a brand new install?
Is is due to the MacArthur hat having some sort of impact?

Any other solutions/suggestions to clear this message and get the I2C system working again?
