Confusion on what components to order
#1
Hi all! I'm putting together a shopping cart to build my chart plotter, from scratch. I'm a bit confused on what to order with my MacArthur hat for gps and ais. do I in fact also need a daisy hay or maiana base kit? And antenna or GPS antenna?  I'm a little confused as what's needed! Please help, I was hoping to put this order through tonight!

If you want to receive AIS, then you'd need a dAISy HAT. If you want to also transmit AIS, you will need a MAIANA instead.

MAIANA comes with an integrated GPS receiver. If you don't have MAIANA, you could buy a USB GPS puck for location data.

If you need Maiana, wait a little bit more. This month should be on stock, again.
If you will have MacArthur hat, the base kit is enough, you don't need a NMEA adapter.

Thank you! So it will be manufactured again then? I just saw after posting this it was currently out of manufacture, that would be great if so!!!

Yes, I'm working on it, final steps of production.
First batch should be ready this month.

That's great! Once available, what website should I purchase from? I'm located in the US.

I'm not 100% sure but I think will be the same site for worldwide orders. At least for now.
