Get Sailgauge working?
#1
Is SignalK Sailgauge broken for everyone or just me? Are there any configuration changes I need to make?

I have noticed Sailgauge now appears twice under signalk apps; maybe importing a legacy one from old settings? Neither work.

I have wind, speed over ground working in Signal K Instruments app.

I've tried accessing it from another device on the network to no avail.

Do I need to configure the URL and port somewhere? Unlike some of the other SignalK apps there's no way to specify on the page itself.

I have the same problem and asked the question in another thread ... but i guess people are busy sailing.

I can only get it "working" (...as in reacting to any kind of indata) if i access the demo site directly. The same thing goes for any external device (such as tablet, computer and S3 smartwatch).

I would also appreciate som ideas on what to do.

Sailgauge does work.
Please check.
cd .config/signalk-server-node
killall node
bin/nmea-from-file

But it doesn't like OpenPlotters uuid with mmsi. You have to change:

Code:
"uuid": "urn:mrn:imo:mmsi:

to

Code:
"uuid": "urn:mrn:signalk:uuid:

in /home/pi/.config/openplotter/OP-signalk/openplotter-settings.json
