Maiana Blue + MacArthur HAT behavior

I recently bought a MAIANA BLUE AIS with a MacArthur HAT.

The setup with OpenPlotter was relatively easy and my system seems to run smoothly, but I have a question regarding the

MAIANA AIS Transponder 4.2.0 application.


Since I set up the MAIANA with the station data (MMSI, LOA, …), each time I press the Refresh button, the application reports:

Errors: ['station data', 'transmission data', 'system data']. Try again by pressing "Refresh"


Please find attached some screenshots for reference.


Despite this issue, the GPS LED is on and AIS TX is active on the MacArthur HAT.

Signal K also seems to be working, as I can see the GPS position in OpenCPN.

I am doing something wrong? Or it's normal ?

sorry for my late answer.
can you connect Maiana through the USB/UART adapter, as a serial connection?
if yes, check this way, to connect to Maiana through OP app

I have to admit I didn't check the connection through MacArthur because I don't have one. 
All Maiana Blue kits was tested before shipping but not with MacArthur hat.
