My bench build v 1

[Star Lord]

Did a bench build to explore Raspberry Pi and OpenCPN. 

Parts - 
Raspberry Pi 5
256GB micro SD card 
Raspberry Pi active cooler 
Raspberry Pi 27w USB-C power supply 
MacArthur HAT for Pi 5
Mgears USB GPS receiver 
Waveshare touch screen 
(also using an iPad to run FreeboardSK off SignalK server) 
Kasa smart plugs 
Logitech mk270 keyboard and mouse 

Notes - signed up for edX “get started with your Raspberry Pi computer” course 
Used forums, YouTube, ChatGPT, Perplexity 
Very little (almost zero) coding and comp-sci background 
Considering some other cost effective adds to the bench build to play around with feeding data to SignalK, KIP, and gauges on FreeboardSK
Table has been used for some art projects, if you’re wondering what’s in front of the keyboard!
