Maiana connection problem

I'm unable to connect to the maiana ais antenna. I'm using pi 5 with MacArthur hat and power supply. Antenna is connected via Ethernet cable. I get a GPS light but no communication. I followed the instructions. I've tried another new cable with same result. 
Could someone help me to narrow down the problem?
This is assembled on the bench.
