How to delte Signal K tag
#1
Hello

I searched the forum and documentation, but cannot find what I'm looking for.

In Signal K "Data Browser" I have three entries or tags which are obsolete. They relateed to an I2C measurement which I have renamed to a better description, but the old names still take up space. I cannot for the life of me find out how to delete them or remove them from the list, I also tried the I2C configuration tool.

OpenPlotter 4
I2C 4.2.0
Signal K 2.24.0

How do I delete Signal K tags?

Just restarting the server should do it.

Signal K doesn’t allow manual deletion of old data paths in the Data Browser. They will disappear after you stop the source sending them (e.g., the I2C plugin) and restart the server.

Paddy, this is not working here. after many workings with diy-ESPSensors (n2k and sh) they stay around.

But SignalK has another dev-channel, so keep on hoping for an cleanup of all the old tags at restarting sk-server.
Or maybe search for old sk-tags via charactersearch inside the .signalk folder and edit the .json s.

Never seen that before - what connection is sending them? , if you turn off all the connections so no data can come in and restart are there any live deltas in data browser?

Screen grabs would help, or pretty print copyNpaste of http://10.42.0.1:3000/signalk/v1/api/vessels/   Cool
