CAN channel stopped unexpectedly, retrying...
#1
Hi,
Bookworm, rpi4, Pican-M,  Signal K Server  version 2.24.0, Can Bus 4.1.0

When I add the mcp2515 connection to signalK for the Pican-M from Can Bus 4.1.0, Can Bus creates a connection for the mcp251fxd as well (see attatchments).

I then get  "CAN channel stopped unexpectedly, retrying..." in the signalK server log basically every minute. It restarts and it works fine for a minute again. I suspect it has to do with the double connection of 2515 and 251fxd, but I am not sure.

The config file of the rpi just states the MCP2515 and no MCP251fxd. From what I understand the Pican-M uses the 2515.

Any thought or inputs on the topic?

Best regards
Henrik
