Remote GPIO not showing for 1-wire and nmea0183 not showing data
#1
Hi all, wondering if anyone can help me. I recently installed a 1-wire and as others I don't see the device in 1-wire settings. I have read advice on this group and made sure 19 pin in selected and I went to enable and disable the remote GPIO as recommended, but alas, it is not showing as in the pictures below.
My other weeks long headache is getting any data from my wind and speed nmea0183 inputs. I have followed the instructions to the letter and have the wires the correct way round. I get input flashing lights, but nothing at the data browser and red node says "not connected"
I am running Raspberry Pi 5, 8GB, Macartur Hat, Openplotter 4, the newest update and all updates for plugins.
I have attached some pictures to help. Many thanks for any information. Tim

Re NMEA0183: In your photo both RX LEDs are on. If wired the correct way around, the RX LEDs should be normally off, blinking only intermittently when data arrives. Flipping +/- should fix that.

Not sure what's up with 1-wire. The UI telling you that the GPIO service is not running points to a configuration / Linux issue, which is not my area of competence.

Hi, thanks for your reply, the leds are flashing, the photo just shows them on. If I reverse the wiring, I get no lights. I have also included some other settings as I could only upload 5 pics on the first post. Thanks Tim
