This is fantastic work — seriously impressive. The whole toolkit is super practical for small‑boat workflows, and the fact that you built the entire repo (structure, code, docs) using Copilot and Windows Speech‑to‑Text is wild. That’s exactly the kind of innovation that makes Raspberry Pi + OpenCPN setups so much more capable.

The tools you’ve included already cover a ton of real‑world needs: Maidenhead lookup, HiFiBerry volume control, sun/moon almanac generation… all cleanly wrapped in tkinter and launched through the OpenCPN Launcher Plugin. Very nicely done.

Thanks skipperdon, just looked at your website - LOAD of work in there, well done. Just spent 20m or half hour chatting to copilot & it got this working, rudimentary but still quick and useful passage planning. load a route out of opencpn database, a grib and see what the wind will be like onboard.

But very happy with the passage planning, got it to mimic windy.com distance & planning.
