PyPilot GUI Redesign
#1
Hello, everyone.

Did you find graphic interface of lovely PyPilot a little outdated?

I did. So I redesigned it a little bit. If someone interested all info here - https://github.com/ekhavana/pypilot-gui

Let me know how it goes if you try it.

This looks nice - I primarily control PyPilot from a tablet or phone so this could be a nice update. I'll try it out next time I'm out!

This design might also work quite nicely embedded into other pages, for instance a KIP dashboard...might give that a go too!

Yep, all possible. If you test it - let me know how it works. I will go over to my boat during next couple days to do a field test, I tested it on a mock server only so far, so I’ll update Readme on github after I test it in the field as well as I can write here how it goes.

I tested on my boat this weekend, works well with couple corrections. I’ll commit corrections I done shortly. Have anyone else tried it?

This is certainly on my list to investigate.

Perhaps it can be an option along side the traditional gui, or eventually even a default if it is better or more popular.

Hi ekhavana,

I tried to download the files from your git repo directly to my windowes machine for copying them via filezilla to my tinypilot. But pypilot_app.css has been rejected by a virus warning. Your JS files are much biggger then the raw code. So I stopped installing and testing your GUI.

Cheers
Michael
