I2C Service

I ran OpenPlotter on a Raspberry Pi 4 for two years without any issues. Now that unit has failed, and I’ve tried installing OpenPlotter 4 on a Raspberry Pi 5. The installation went perfectly, but I can't get the I2C service running. I’ve read that there are known issues with this—is there a solution?

What messages do you get? What have you tried so far?

After adding an ADS1115 module, the system check reports "i2c Service not running." The i2c service is outputting an error message; see the screenshot.

There is a problem with adding ADS1115 devices (https://forum.openmarine.net/showthread....ht=ads1115) but your problem looks quite different.

Are you saying that you can successfully add an ADS1115 using the I2C app?

If you run "Check system" before and after adding it are there any errors? IGNORE this, I see you have already answered this question, I'm sorry.

What version of I2C are you using?

I2C Version = 4.2.0.
I successfully added the sensor via the I2C app. The sensor's address was also visible.
