security cam
#1
i have been working on the security sys. for my boat.
i have installed motioneye for cams and i like it a lot . using a usb cam for testing i want to get some ip cams next.
i am thinking of putting one on the mast "crows nest" to look forward. that would have been useful on my last trip on the bahama bank..lots of uncharted reefs rocks...
other things i am using are pir motion sensor, email alerts, alarm, kill switch, lights and world map node for location on the dashboard.
i found some cool sound bites of dog barking that i added to the alarm .lol

I agree with you. I have used motioneye as a surveillance system on Rpi for several years, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and the operation has been great. I think that's a great idea.
