I just received my Macarthur HAT a few days ago, with the power module.
With everything assembled the Daisy Hat does not fit flush with the power module installed.
Other than removing the power module (which kind of defeats the purpose of putting a pi on a boat)
Is there a work around for installing a Daisy hat?
Thank you in advance
Yak

Oops! I had to check myself how Sailoog did it.
He documented the procedure as the 4th floor on page 7 of the manual for the MacArthur HAT:
Quote:If we want to connect another HAT, we must
use an extra GPIO header extender of normal
size and 4 spacers of 20mm and M2.5. Finally,
we will secure the dAISy HAT with 4 M2.5
screws.
He was likely using this kind of GPIO header:

On a quick search, I found the above in this set on Amazon US:

In hindsight, we should have thought of offering a kit with those parts as an option, to safe everyone the time to source them separately. We will look into this.
Thank you Adrian, this helps alot
Ops, yes, we should provide a kit header/standoffs/screws for these cases.

Good news: Starting today, the parts required for 4th floor stacking are now included in the standard MacArthur kit.

The 4th floor kit is still available as a separate purchase in the OpenMarine and Wegmatt web stores, in case you bought the MacArthur HAT before this change.
