OpenPlotter 4 roadmap
enable debugging mode: https://openplotter.readthedocs.io/en/4....#debugging

open a terminal and type:

Code:
journalctl -b -u openplotter-i2c-read

copy here any error you get.

Yes i followed you instructions. Should i enable debug and then reboot?
Is a new debug file created upon running your command or clicking the "debug"?
Perhaps another turn. I'll check more.

EDIT: My Bad! I selected the WRONG I2C address.

I am seriously disappointed with myself. By some reason i took it for granted that the BMP280 address was 0x68 and the IMU 0x77. It's the other way arnound.

My sincere apologies for taking up your precious time with my confusion. Sincere.

Thank you!

Do not worry, thanks for reporting. Your problem made me realize that we should add this debugging procedure to the manuals.

And maybe one or two more red statusbar lines when one or more sensor(s) are present and the service does not start. IMHO it's verbosity setting is a wee bit on the low side. Regards!

Done. Check openplotter-i2c v4.1.3 and report any issue please.

Hi All,

Just a quick note to say that, as a newbie with all this, I find the amount of progress and cooperation to be phenomenal.
Also I received my MacArthur HAT a few weeks and the quality is superb.

Thanks to all of you!

Smile

Rgds,

a.
