However - the Moitessier hat cannot be mounted without an extra pin head and it's quite tricky to come by actually! Not a lot of places ship to Sweden these days so I've been hunting online for a couple of hours(!) for something as simple as a gpio duplicator with reasonable shipping time. Would be a great accessory to your shop glowntiger
Hi, is this what you are looking for? https://www.amazon.com/Connectors-Raspbe...09&sr=8-51
However Thomas should have them!
Indeed, but actually very hard to find that are shipping to Sweden right now. Had to buy a "DIY" kit after hours of searching :O

I cannot find the MCS Installer in the settings app as stated in the Readme file on github. I'm considering an order but first, is this ready? How is it installed?

Max,
Thanks. It was pretty easy. Will be ordering the Moitessier Hat and the MCS kit soon. Is there anything else I will need other than the 40 pin adapter?

I would appreciate a bit more details on the NMEA0183 interface settings, i hooked up an input and output. One of them indicated a red led and the other nothing, i'm not sure how and where to set the different options. Added interfaces in SignalK as a trial, also tried reading the serial outputs /dev/.... as root but all silent.
So that part of configuration is a bit unclear, read the german and english instructions but it does not cover many details.
