Pi 5 question
#1
Am I correct in assuming the pipilot hat is not supported on the pi5? When I attach the hat to it I only get compass readings and it says no motor controller detected. Is there a way to make it work?
It works fine on my pi4. I’m using BBN.

Did you do the steps for enabling motor controller serial interface?

Just attaching hat is not enough. Motor controller should work fine on pi5.
Download BBN Marine OS for raspberry pi

I did follow the instructions above. Maybe I should start from scratch. I was using the sad card that works on the pi 4. Maybe a fresh install on the pi5 would be best.
